Walking To and At School Days have been a huge hit. Students report that walking before school helps them to get energy out and is a great way to start the day. Many students take multiple laps around the building at the start of the day.
PLEASE JOIN US ON:
Students that can walk to school safely are encouraged to do so. Those that take the bus and those that walk will have the chance to take a lap or two around the school building at the start of the day. We hope you will join us!

Hydration challenge logs will come home with your student this week. For the week ofhave your child keep track of how much water they drink. Return the completed form to the nurses office by to earn a chance to win a hydroflask. During the week of classrooms will keep track of how many students bring in water bottles for snack time.
HOW TO TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN ABOUT DRUGS 6:30p NES
Chris Placy from the NH Governors Commission for drug and alcohol abuse Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery will be joining us for a presentation on "How to talk with your children ( at any age) about drugs". Please join us in the elementary school library at 6:30p for an interactive session. Babysitting provided free of charge.

Screenagers explores parental struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction and offers solutions to help kids find balance.
Students in grades 6-12 will view the film during the day. Parents and community members are invited to join us.
Upcoming Bond Vote for Additions and Renovations to Newmarket Elementary School and Newmarket Junior/Senior High—Final Information Session scheduled
On October 20th, the School Board approved options for additions and renovations for both schools in town. They adopted, on December 15th, the warrant articles on which the public will vote on March 14, 2017.
